Das Lied von der Erde with poems by Elisabeth Frischauf

November 2025, saw two Memorable performances of Das Lied von der Erde at the Kurhaus Bad tölz and Bergson Kulturkraftwerk Theater, Munich Germany

Hear the poems: Truth, Shoot'em, a fragment of Love Lingers on the short video below:, extracted from the complete performance.

This Lied von der Erde is an hour-long woven tapestry in memory of the ending of WW II, of Nazi banned music and writing by those who managed to escape and those who perished. Conceived and directed through a contemporary lens, by Martina Veh, with my voice and poems in Soundscape by Christoph Reiserer. Also performing: Soprano, Stephanie Krug; Actor, Stefan Wilkening; Dancer, Alberto Pagani; Conductor, Maria Fitzgerald.

The unique format of this one night exhibition, auction, and celebration, provides participants and attendees a chance to create, view and purchase a wide variety of pieces - all in the same size format. The works submitted are displayed anonymously for the evening and participants are able to place silent bids on each work.

The evening culminates with square dancing to the music of the "Still the Homegrown Band" and Buddy Griffith. Rachael Gall is the Caller for the dancing. Come join with your neighbors in supporting the Center, enjoying the band and dancing. You may go home with a masterpiece.
