We all need mugs, bowls, pitchers, vases and for centuries ceramic pieces have served us well. Mine use a variety of clay bodies, both earthenware and stoneware with colorful glazes and underglazes, for jewel-like effects to combine function with art. When possible, I aim for a sculptural effect as well as humor - for example- my pitchers with attitude.
