Das Lied von der Erde with poems by Elisabeth Frischauf

November 2025, saw two Memorable performances of Das Lied von der Erde at the Kurhaus Bad tölz and Bergson Kulturkraftwerk Theater, Munich Germany

Hear the poems: Truth, Shoot'em, a fragment of Love Lingers on the short video below:, extracted from the complete performance.

This Lied von der Erde is an hour-long woven tapestry in memory of the ending of WW II, of Nazi banned music and writing by those who managed to escape and those who perished. Conceived and directed through a contemporary lens, by Martina Veh, with my voice and poems in Soundscape by Christoph Reiserer. Also performing: Soprano, Stephanie Krug; Actor, Stefan Wilkening; Dancer, Alberto Pagani; Conductor, Maria Fitzgerald.

Another show, from July 22 and ongoing through August 16 at Ceres Gallery, New York City

On view at the gallery.  From the Biblical story, I have taken some liberties.  First,  Salomé seduces John the Baptist in the dance of the seven veils, in front of Herod, the king.  Herod is so charmed that he grants her a favor.  Salomé, swollen with pride, asks for John the Baptist's head and gets it.

Using mixed media, Salomé steps into the 21st century as a shoe!

A busy summer of shows with first one at Studio around the corner, Brewster, NY

"1 and 2, Hit or Miss," mobiles
Two mobiles made of found and re-purposed objects.  Shown this past July, the first mobiles ever for the gallery! On Youtube where you can see them move and sip away from a moving straw.  It's hit or miss for these two.
