Das Lied von der Erde with poems by Elisabeth Frischauf
November 2025, saw two Memorable performances of Das Lied von der Erde at the Kurhaus Bad tölz and Bergson Kulturkraftwerk Theater, Munich Germany
Hear the poems: Truth, Shoot'em, a fragment of Love Lingers on the short video below:, extracted from the complete performance.
This Lied von der Erde is an hour-long woven tapestry in memory of the ending of WW II, of Nazi banned music and writing by those who managed to escape and those who perished. Conceived and directed through a contemporary lens, by Martina Veh, with my voice and poems in Soundscape by Christoph Reiserer. Also performing: Soprano, Stephanie Krug; Actor, Stefan Wilkening; Dancer, Alberto Pagani; Conductor, Maria Fitzgerald.
Postcard Art Show in support of the Children of Aleppo
I am participating and have invited fellow artists to donate to this worthy cause and enter their open call here as well:
In response to the overwhelming sentiments toward the horrific news and video surfacing around the atrocities in Aleppo, particularly in regard to the children affected, we would like to initialize an open call for artists from around the world to respond.
The intention of this call is to allow visual artists an outlet to express themselves around the Syrian crisis and to raise awareness and funds to aid in the effort to provide Syrian children emergency care, food and water.
As artists ourselves and considering the reactions by other artists to this tragedy, we felt that this call to action might be a way to give voice to the community in order to raise awareness and hopefully have the potential to heal in some way. Additionally, any sales or donations will go toward the Save the Children Syrian Children's Relief Fund.

This is the front, a mixed media children's book like illustration, done with my 7 year old grandson
We wrote the card together and as I was waiting on line at the post office, the lady next to me, also by serendipity an artist, donated the stamp!

Deep Spirits
This 52x 30 inch mobile uses thrown away coat hangers and fishing line to allow driftwood, coral, sea stones and shells to dance and come to life, forever changing in our view and what happens amongst themselves. These are the deep spirits that surround us, preening, cajoling, saying, “take me,” as we walk along the shores of the sea or a lake.
Antique Czech and Italian beads create points of sparkle and the fishing line, in addition to being structural, also becomes curls and whiskers.
