Das Lied von der Erde with poems by Elisabeth Frischauf

November 2025, saw two Memorable performances of Das Lied von der Erde at the Kurhaus Bad tölz and Bergson Kulturkraftwerk Theater, Munich Germany

Hear the poems: Truth, Shoot'em, a fragment of Love Lingers on the short video below:, extracted from the complete performance.

This Lied von der Erde is an hour-long woven tapestry in memory of the ending of WW II, of Nazi banned music and writing by those who managed to escape and those who perished. Conceived and directed through a contemporary lens, by Martina Veh, with my voice and poems in Soundscape by Christoph Reiserer. Also performing: Soprano, Stephanie Krug; Actor, Stefan Wilkening; Dancer, Alberto Pagani; Conductor, Maria Fitzgerald.

The end of a successful show at Ceres Gallery, Chelsea, NY, July-August 2022

Inside was warm, there’d be a basket of plenty of !f-f-food!  There were blankets and cuddles; Santa came regularly.  It was home, Home!, HOME!

Outside it's cold or way too hot and hard and HOMELESS and scary & dirty. Homeless. And there we are forgotten.  Looked through, if at all.  Death comes wherever we are—Inside & Outside—there WE are all EQUAL.

This mixed media mobile is dedicated to refugees and homeless wherever they might be
